Carl Crossgrove drew the suite of typefaces to complement his Mundo Sans family’s classic humanistic design traits – and added a subtle modern influence. Restrained stroke modulation, generous counters, commanding x-height and tall ascenders ensure that content set in Mundo Serif is both legible and easy on the eyes. While primarily designed for text copy in print and on screen, Mundo Serif becomes a powerful display type tool in the lightest and boldest weights. Headlines, navigational links and banners are naturals for this versatile collection of typefaces.

Mundo Serif is a large family. Nine weights, each with an italic companion, enable precise typographic tuning. Captions, subheads, pull quotes and long-form copy can be melded to create a welcoming page of modulated text. For best results in digital environments, skipping a weight – or even two – ensures hierarchical clarity. Crossgrove did extensive testing of Mundo Serif to ensure the best possible on-screen readability. To further guarantee optimal digital imaging of the family, he gave the design generous inter-character spacing and slightly expanded intricate characters like the lowercase a and g.

If the goal is diversified or multi-platform branding, look no further than Mundo Sans. The two designs harmonize with each other perfectly in weight, typographic color and proportion. Both designs benefit from large international character set that includes support for most Central European and many Eastern European languages. For a stronger contrast, pair Mundo Serif with virtually any sans serif grotesque design.

Polyphonic is a highly versatile slab serif typeface comprising 60 fonts across 6 weights and 5 widths. It is a no-nonsense, clear and legible type family whose multiple voices will suit numerous typographic applications. Its overall personality is polite, understated and formal – there are no frills with this typeface, it conveys messages simply and efficiently without hyperbole.

Polyphonic’s lighter weights are great for body text and its heavier weights the perfect complement for branding, titles, headings and logotype options. To create the Kontiki fonts, 193 glyphs were manually cut into five wooden plates and carefully printed by hand. From countless test prints, the most charming four were selected and digitized. Kontiki offers a designer the possibility to create a printed image that is very close to a traditional woodprint, but is less expensive to produce an easier to correct. Radcliffe graphic project at Behance

Radcliffe is a typeface family designed in 2018 by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Andrea Tartarelli, as a reinvention of traditional Clarendon design in search of a “contemporary classic” typeface look. Tailor made for elegance, Radcliffe features the strong bracketed serifs, vertical stress, and little contrast of Clarendon, refined with a humanist touch and a calligraphic approach, obvious in the italics.

Primarily intended as a display typeface with a wide range of finely-tuned weights for editorial and logo-design uses, Radcliffe has been complemented by Radcliffe Text, developed in five weights with a taller x-height and slightly condensed proportions, allowing for maximum readability in long texts on the web and at small size.

The family also includes the two funky weights of Radcliffe Casual, designed with a slight reverse contrast aesthetics, perfect for your Country Club activities. All Radcliffe fonts include full open type features with stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, positional number forms, swash forms (in italics) and full language coverage for +70 languages using latin and cyrillic alphabets.
